Seattle Bloggers Meetup!
Last night was my first! Anita does a great job covering it on her blog, and ThenYouDiscover has a photo and a list of everyone who attended.
I got to hang out and talk about Xbox with Robert and Harry, and blogging and career growth with Curt, and RTC stuff (I'm looking into this for our division's Intranet) stuff with JP, and the "good old days" at Microsoft with Anita, and blogging and marketing with Betsy.
It was fun! I think I'll have to make it out again.
Maybe not so far away, next time? Monroe is a bit of a jaunt from North Seattle...

If you join meetup.com you get to vote on locations, plus get emails if the location changes at the last minute and so on. If you sign up for meetup plus you can actually nominate!
It would be possible to have weblog meetup on the east side (separate from Seattle proper) since that's a meetup locale but it would be scheduled at the same time as ours.

We don't have any meet-ups here. I've already checked a few times
and things don't seem to be happenin' on this
side of the planet. Blah.

I think every Seattle meetup should have some
homless representation there. Don't you?
